What is an escape game ?
An escape game is a team-based adventure game, usually played in a closed space with a specific theme, like horror in our case. The goal is to solve a series of puzzles and challenges to complete a mission and progress to the exit.
What is our game about ?
Gru – Bar & Live Escape Game is an immersive escape game designed to stimulate both the mind and the senses. Participants will navigate through our sets, solving puzzles to advance. The game includes actors, unexpected events, or actions that may scare sensitive individuals. However, no intentional harm, psychological abuse, or any violation of participants’ dignity will occur.
How much does a session cost at Gru - Bar & Live Escape Game ?
Our prices vary depending on the number of players. For a group of 6 players, the price is €30.00 per person.
Can I cancel or reschedule a session ?
Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation is not possible. You can reschedule up to 72 hours before your session.
How many players ?
You can book a session for 2 to 6 players.
What is the minimum age to play at Gru - Bar & Live Escape Game ?
The minimum age to play is 12 years, with an adult accompanying the entire session. However, Cult and Gaëtan are strongly discouraged for those under 16.
I have a heart condition, epilepsy, or am pregnant. Can I play ?
Due to the intense sound and light effects, including strobe lights and sudden scares caused by actors, our rooms are not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, epilepsy, or pregnant women.
I have reduced mobility, can I play a scenario ?
The scenarios require a certain level of physical activity, and therefore, they are not accessible to individuals with reduced mobility. However, the bar is fully equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities.
Can I watch my friends’ game or see it on the screens?
Unfortunately, this is not allowed. The staff does not permit waiting on-site during your friends’ game, nor observing their progress on the screens alongside the game masters.
What is Gru - Bar & Live Escape Game ?
Gru – Bar & Live Escape Game is a lounge bar that hides an escape game with a horror theme, featuring two ‘speak-easy’ scenarios.
Are the rooms scary ?
Both of our rooms are intense in terms of fear, and are not recommended for those under 16. They are also forbidden to individuals with heart conditions, epilepsy, or pregnant women.
How long does a session last ?
Our scenarios last between 60 and 80 minutes.
I am late, can I still join my session ?
You must arrive exactly at your booking time. Any delay exceeding 10 minutes will not be tolerated.
Are the scenarios available in English ?
Yes, the scenarios are available in English.
Can I change the number of players ?
Yes, if your group size changes but does not exceed the maximum capacity of the room, it’s possible. Please inform us by phone and pay for the additional player(s).
Do I need to dress in a specific way for a session ?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing to allow freedom of movement. High heels, skirts, or dresses are strongly discouraged.
I am claustrophobic, can I still play ?
In our experiences, you may have to pass through enclosed spaces and be in complete darkness at times. It’s up to you to judge based on your level of claustrophobia.
